But This Didn’t Start With a Blog

My interest in purpose didn’t begin because I decided to become a blogger.

It started with my own life.

There was a period when I was asking some very serious questions about my future.

After secondary school, I wanted to go to the university.

But admission didn’t come.

I wrote JAMB.

And wrote it again.

And again.

For about four years, I was dealing with the frustration of trying to gain admission.

And somewhere along the line, I started asking myself:

“Is my life only about education?”

“What if this path isn’t working?”

“What else can I do with my life?”

“How can I become impactful?”

And perhaps the biggest question was:

Those weren’t just philosophical questions for me.

They were personal.

I needed answers.

Then Something Happened

For a long time, I had already been thinking about why so many young people seem to be moving through life without really knowing who they are or where they are going.

Then I attended a family-life workshop in Jos.

One of my HODs, Madam Ife, organized the workshop.

One of the things she taught struck something deep inside me.

She talked about the importance of discovering your purpose before getting a life partner.

That thought stayed with me.

I began thinking about the number of people who enter relationships and marriages without really understanding themselves.

People are trying to find the right person…

while they haven’t even discovered who they are.

And I began to see something differently.

A season to ask:

• Who am I?
• What has God placed inside me?
• What am I called to do?
• What kind of person am I becoming?
• What purpose am I supposed to fulfill?

That workshop didn’t answer every question for me.

But it pushed me to start searching more seriously for my own answers.

I Had to Discover Myself Too

I began praying.

I began studying Scripture more intentionally.

I attended workshops and programs.

I read.

I listened to people who had gone ahead of me.

I asked questions.

And gradually, I began putting the pieces together.

I started paying attention to the things that had always been inside me:

• My love for teaching
• My desire to write
• My passion for helping people
• My interest in building relationships
• My involvement in ministry
• The things I kept thinking about
• The things people noticed about me

I also had experiences through dreams and ministry that made me pay closer attention to what I believed God might be doing in my life.

I remember one particular experience where a little girl saw me and asked:

“Are you a man of God? Are you a preacher?”

That question stayed with me.

Not because one question from a child could define my life.

But because it became one of many experiences that made me stop and ask:

“What is it that people are seeing that I haven’t fully understood about myself?”

And I began putting the pieces together.

That Is Why Digi.com.ng Exists

Eventually, I realized something.

There are many people asking the same questions I had asked.

People who are educated.

People who are working.

People who look like they have everything together.

And yet, deep inside, they are still asking:

Some know they have potential.

They just don’t know how to translate that potential into meaningful action.

Some are Christians who love God but are still confused about their direction.

Some are entering relationships without first understanding themselves.

Some are comparing their lives with everyone around them.

And some are simply going through life because they don’t know what else to do.

That is why I created Digi.com.ng.

Who Is Digi.com.ng For?

Digi.com.ng is primarily for young people and young adults, especially Christians who are trying to understand themselves, discover their purpose and grow into who God has called them to become.

That includes:

• Students
• Singles
• Young professionals
• Emerging leaders
• Christians seeking direction
• People trying to discover their gifts
• People who know they have potential but don’t know what to do with it

The content is particularly relevant to young people, but everyone is welcome here.

You don’t have to be a Christian to read this website.

However, because my faith is central to how I understand life, purpose and growth, you will find Scripture and biblical principles throughout much of the content.

I Don’t Want to Just Motivate You

There is already enough motivational content on the internet.

You can wake up tomorrow and find thousands of quotes telling you that you can do anything.

But motivation alone isn’t enough.

You need understanding.

You need wisdom.

You need principles.

You need practical knowledge.

And sometimes, you need someone to take a complicated idea and break it down until you can understand what it means and what you can actually do about it.

My approach combines biblical principles with practical life lessons, personal development and meaningful action.

I draw from Scripture, my personal experiences, my professional experiences, research, teaching, ministry and continuous learning.

And because I enjoy breaking down complex ideas, I try to make what I teach simple enough for ordinary people to understand and apply.

I Am Still Learning Too

I want to be clear about something.

I don’t write because I have figured everything out.

I haven’t.

I am still studying Scripture.

I am still reading.

I am still learning from people who know things I don’t know.

Professionally, I work as an accountant.

Beyond my professional work, I am involved in Christian ministry, teaching, mentoring, leadership and writing.

I’ve also organized training programs and workshops, including programs designed to help pastors and church leaders develop digital skills.

These experiences have shaped the way I think, teach and communicate.

So when I write here, I write from a combination of what I have learned, what I have experienced, what I have studied and what I continue to discover.

I don’t claim to know everything.

But I take learning seriously.

What Do I Want for You?

If you spend time reading Digi.com.ng, I don’t want the only thing you can say to be:

“I read some interesting articles.”

I want something deeper.

I want you to understand yourself better.

I want you to become more aware of your gifts and potential.

I want you to grow spiritually.

I want you to stop living your life primarily through comparison with other people.

I want you to develop yourself.

I want you to understand what you believe God has called you to do.

And I want you to begin taking meaningful steps in that direction.

Why I Keep Doing This

Because I know what it feels like to have questions.

I know what it feels like when the path you expected doesn’t work.

I know what it feels like to wonder:

“What next?”

And I also believe something strongly:

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.

Many of the people we admire today started as ordinary people.

They had questions.

They had setbacks.

They had weaknesses.

They had to learn.

They had to discover themselves.

They had to develop what was inside them.

And I believe there is also room for you to grow, learn and become more of who you were created to be.
